- 低开高走，开头两集过于类型化和ZZZQ，差点被劝退，但从3、4集开始渐入佳境。老公安和年轻公安的关系刻画、群众路线和技术破案两条路线张力的表达都是延续自“十七年”和“新时期”公安电影的母题，而且做出了近几年国内这一类题材最扎实的刻画和表达。最大的优点是无论单元故事还是总体的故事没刻意给观众一个“圆满”答案，保留了一定的开放性，对基层自组织的呈现也有可圈可点之处，要说问题就是有些情节还是处理得太温柔，但在当前的国内创作环境和观众接受语境下，这是合理的创作选择。
