- 光是第一集就能感受到導演的功力，十個角色的背景、時空順序交代的很清楚，且極具帶入感，幾個重要演員的演技無話可說（但我期待的吳慷仁呢！坐等第二季）整體而言是一部非常優秀的台劇，美術設計、運鏡、攝影、剪輯都非常出彩，歌曲的選擇大概是本劇唯一的敗筆（而且是極為慘烈的敗筆）！...

- 中年林心如可比夏紫薇时期迷人多了。1980年代的台北跟20年后的苏州好像啊。《华灯初上》要翻拍大陆版，最适合放在苏州演绎了。光酒家就在淮海街，抛尸地点安排在灵岩山后山，被夜爬灵白线的市民发现……
